OrangeCross received the authorization from Health and Family Welfare Department of Govt of Odisha for empanelment under Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) on behalf of the State Health Assurance Society to extend the benefit to the beneficiaries.
Under the scheme, Odisha Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana is to provide health insurance of up to Rs. 5 lakhs per family per annum. The main objective of this scheme is to provide healthcare facilities to people who belong to economically
vulnerable families.
Under BSKY, insurance will cover these people, and will be rewarded with free-of-cost healthcare services under various health institutions. The woman will also be rewarded with Rs. 2 lakhs as additional health insurance coverage.
With the help of this scheme, people belonging to economically weaker sections of the state will be able to get free of cost treatment. The main objective of launching this scheme is to provide free of cost healthcare facilities.
