OrangeCross is imparting functional training to the jail inmates to make them self-sufficient and self- reliant. The GDA training for jail inmates comprises of health care and soft skills training. The training is conducted through theoretical, audio-visual and practical sessions. To make the training program interesting and reflective, the sessions are carried out through interactive sessions including debates, role plays, dry runs of medical equipment, equipment handling in class.
Moreover, individual sessions on Basic Life Support and CPR are conducted for each candidate. The candidates are also facilitated to conduct a SWOT analysis for themselves. After training the jail inmates would be equipped to support the Hospital managed inside the jail premises and upon their release have opportunities for livelihood.
