His core competencies are in the areas of Human Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, Quality and Industrial Relations. In recognition of his contribution in the area of HR, he has been bestowed with the HR Leadership Award by the Asia Pacific HRM Congress.
Dr. Mohapatra has been trained in Japan and USA in the areas of Human Resources Management. He has been certified as an Executive Coach by the European Coaching Institute. He is a Master Practioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). He is a certified Happiness Coach.

Among his professional experiences are talent acquisition, policy development, PMS, employee lifecycle management, organisational growth, HR planning and budgeting, all HR compliances, labour and factory law, and employee relations.
